Congratulations to our young artists at Marion, whose work was recently honored as winners of the 2025 Attendance Poster contest!

The Wayne County Partnership For Strengthening Families called on students across Wayne County to design an 8.5 x 11 poster that not only encourages students to attend school, but to arrive on time! A committee judged all entries that were submitted in September and from Marion, designs from Mackenzie B. and Zora L. were honored, along with several others from neighboring districts. The winners received prizes from Ohmann Theatre in Lyons and Lollypops and Polka Dots in Marion. 

Replicas of the posters were printed by the Wayne County Community Schools STEADY workshop and will be posted for display throughout Wayne County.
